What To Do In Case Of Emergency

Children at schools

In case of local or country event as well as during the evacuation or hiding inside your own house, the parents should listen to the local media and look into internet as often as possible, so they could gather information about the closure and reopening of the schools.
The parents should follow the news in the local media as well as the information from the school regarding the School Board decisions.

The information regarding any changes in the school’s timetable are going to be spread by most radio and TV stations.
Until the decision about the possible evacuation will be taken, the students will remain at schools. In the time of a local crises the school may be the best place for children, therefore we do not advise parents to take their children away from their schools.
However, if any parent would come to school to pick up the child, he (she) has to have ID card, preferably with a picture.
Remember, that if the school is prepared to give shelter to the children in order to provide their safety its staff will not allow any strangers neither to enter the facility nor to leave it until further notice.
