European Football Championships in 2012 will be held in Poland and Ukraine!
On 18 April, at approx. 11.45 in Cardiff, Michel Platini, President of UEFA announced the host of the European Football Championships in 2012.
The key issue particularly stressed by UEFA was security at the Championships. The safety concept for EURO 2012 prepared jointly by MSWiA, Police General Headquarters and Border Guard as an official document supporting the joint Polish and Ukrainian application was assessed very positively by the UEFA Committee.
