What To Do In Case Of Emergency

Shelters

In case of the chemical danger you should go to the area inside the house, preferably where there are no windows; the places above the ground are highly recommended, because some chemical substances are heavier than air and so they can penetrate the cellar even with the windows closed.

  • If the right conditions, the people who are going to use the shelter, should bring with them the change of clothing, sanitary supplies, prescriptions from their doctors, medications, the mouth wash, sunglasses, contact lenses, other products according to their diet, and the special care products.
  • The animal presents will not be permitted with the exception of the shelters especially accommodated for the pets,
  • When the local authorities will inform you about the necessity of staying in the house, you should immediately follow that advice taking the children and the animals inside.

When you will be leaving the house with your family, you should:

  • Close all the windows, outside doors and the chimney,

  • Turn off the fens, heating devices, air conditioners,

  • Wet couple of towels and put them under the doors,

  • Put a scotch tape around your windows, doors, electrical installation and the ventilation shafts,

  • Cover the windows, power points and meters with the plastic bags,

  • Close down the shades, roller blinds or the curtains as soon as you will be informed about the possibility of the explosion,

  • Stay inside and listen to the radio or watch television until they will tell you it is safe to go out or that you will have to evacuate.
