Poland and Ukraine Discussions on EURO 2012

Adam Rapacki, the Undersecretary of State in the Polish Ministry of Interior and Administration, met with Col Wiktor Ratuszniak, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. At the meeting, they discussed collaborative preparations of services to ensure safety during EURO 2012.

Ukrainian guests visited Poland on the occasion of the Police Day celebration. The Minister Wiktor Ratuszniak is also the Head of Public Safety Police. Chief Superintendent Waldemar Jarczewski, Deputy Chief Commander of the Polish Police, also participated in the discussions.
Both for Poland and Ukraine ensuring protection and safety of European Football Championship EURO 2012 is of utmost importance.  Minister Ratuszniak declared intensification of Ukraine's preparations for the organization of EURO 2012.
After last presidential election in Ukraine the State Agency for EURO 2012 was established. The Agency replaced the Coordination Office which operated as the advisory body. The Agency reports directly to the President of Ukraine and is responsible for all the preparations of Ukraine for the European Football Championship.
