Be prepared

Noticing the suspicious activity

In case of emergency the police might sent an additional amount of patrols to the various parts of town and increase the communication with the local authorities. The habitants should be more aware of any suspicious activity in the area and report these type of events, as they occur, to the police. Many people refuse to do so, mainly because they are not sure whether what they had noticed is in deed a matter of a police concern. In case of any doubts, you should immediately contact the police. Do not waste time to talk it over with your friends or your neighbours.

If you suspect, that a crime had been committed or it is about to be committed, call the number 997 or 112. Don’t panic, don’t put yourself at risk. If you will notice any suspicious behaviour just call the police and describe the situation. You don’t have to leave your name. However, if you would like the policeman to contact you, just leave your name, address, phone number and ask the policeman to give you a call. Do not be afraid of anything. All the information remain confidential.
